Tea harvesting and cultivation is the main export earner for the southern part of Malawi. The Mountain’s abundant rainfall aloows the crop to be harvested all year. Mt Mulanje is Malawi’s Highest mountain, and is home to many unique species, including the Mulanje Cedar, most closely related to the Lebanese Cedar.
