The Juneau Icefield: North America’s wildest and most dangerous classroom
It’s a hardcore eight weeks on the Juneau Icefield for Link TV correspondent Jeffrey Barbee, battling crevasses and limited visibility every step of the way. Barbee joins the Juneau Icefield Research Program, which since 1946 has brought teams of scientists and students together to study glaciers in a 1,700 square mile area between Juneau and Skagway Alaska and Atlin, British Columbia in Canada.

The Devastaing Floods in Mozambique for NOS TV’s Nightly News
Jeffrey Barbee filmed and edited more than thirty-five nightly news reports for the Netherlands’ main broadcast channel NOS-TV, from DRC Congo to Zimbabwe to here in Mozambique during one of the world’s most devastating flood events. Working side by side with award-winning journalist Bram Vermeulen, the two travelled across Africa’s most difficult places over the course of eleven years, dodging militias and bullets while reporting from the frontlines of the continent.
